Very close to the airport and the owner was willing to bring me to the airport in the very early morning
Sonja's Guesthouse is the perfect place to stay if you need/want to be close to the airport. Sonja and Henry are excellent, welcoming hosts. Sonja's curry roti was amazing, and Henry provided transport to the airport at 3AM. It was a quiet and relaxing place to stay for my last evening in Suriname before an early morning departure.
Location, cleanliness, comfort and helpful and friendly owners.
The pickup service from the airport was awesome. So was the dropoff, even though they were both at 2 am. The hosting and the food were top notch. The rooms were comfortable and the ambiance of the property was very relaxing.
