Located in the heart of the capital of Torshavn right across from the harbor. My room was large, relaxing, and clean. Wilhelm at the front desk was very helpful. He checked me in as my flight was cancelled. I was able to go to my room immediately when I arrived the next day. He was also very pleasant to talk to and full of information just like the lady who also works the front desk. Breakfast is served daily. And, there is a Thai restaurant open in the evening. I would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable, up-to-date room, good wifi. Location is at the center of the city, close to restaurants, sights, and transport; there are also a restaurant and a bar on site.

Great location in front of the marina. Good coffee shops and restaurants nearby.

You can't beat Hotel Torshavn for location -- city center, right on harbor across street from the cathedral. All the major sights in the center are steps away. Food, from free breakfast to dinner at in-house restaurant, very tasty. My single room was cozy, and bathroom commodious (ha). Not the most hyper-modern place but pretty much up to standards or exceeding them. A solid choice at a great price.

The location is excellent for anyone arriving by ferry. The room was comfortable and clean, and it had a partial view of the harbor.
