Kristjan and his partner Liv run multiple accommodations in the Faroe Islands. They put a ton of personal care into them. He treats his guests like friends and goes out his way to be kind and helpful. I loved my stay at Kassie & Gia's. It was my first night in the Faroes and I couldn't have asked for a better landing pad. The house was warm and welcoming and the shared facilities were more than adequate. I loved talking with Kristjan and Liv and learning more about life in this hauntingly remote and beautiful part of the world. Very highly recommended.

Quite clean and comfortable (the mattress was not that great though) The owner and the Italian guy who looks after the house are very nice and helpful people. The house has all the amenities needed and parking nearby.

The host, Kristjan, is amazing. He’s like the mayor of Vestmanna. He knows everyone and is a world-class networker and problem solver.

It really felt like staying at a home, there is plenty of common space for chilling with other guests. The kitchen was huge and it never felt too crowded. Kristian is simply the best host I’ve met, he is ALWAYS available and goes out of his way to make your stay perfect. The location is perfect to avoid paid tunnels as well.

From the first steps here, you feel like you came for a weekend at the family cottage. You step in, and there's a landline phone with a number to dial. Kristjan welcomes you, and tells you your room number. That's it, you are checked in. No doors ever locked here - house, rooms, as is the way throughout the islands. All the necessary amenities are there. The kitchen is big and fully equipped. With three full bathrooms + an extra toilet, never had to wait in line for the shower longer than a few minutes. Kristjan is always available on the phone, and also drops in most evenings to mingle with his guests, give tips and answer questions. The living room is cozy, has a billiard table and a couple game machines. There are about a dozen parking spots next to the house, and if you come late and they are all taken, there's parking up the street. Great location, I stayed here for 5 days and found it very convenient to explore the islands.
