Location is great, next to the harbor/ocean in a very pretty village by the end of some sort of valley.
As usual on the Faroe Islands, the hotel is also bar/cafe/restaurant/meeting point and the only one in the village so there is never any competition nor choice.
The room is of decent size, large bed, coffee machine, couch with small coffee table and a nice bathroom.
What a wonderful guesthouse! So beautiful and comfortable, with a cute cafe, an elegant dining room and a delightful owner! It’s a reason all by itself to visit Sandoy. I can’t say enough good things about it.
Big room, nicely designed, comfortable bed. The location right on the harbor meant views of whales and dolphins over breakfast. Also the breakfast was absolutely amazing.
From the moment we checked in until we left, we were made to feel valued. The proprietor and staff were friendly and helpful. The townspeople who came into the cafe were cheerful and welcoming. The food at the cafe was superb, and the atmosphere was warm and jolly. Our room was like new and very efficiently set up. We especially appreciated the small welcome basket. Those extra touches make a lot of difference in the experience.
Modern rooms with historic cafe made the perfect combination for a stay in the Faroe Islands. Food was delicious and the views around the island were amazing.
