We enjoyed our 4 night stay in Arles at the apartment of our host, Lise. The apartment is very nice and spacious with interesting architectural features like an ancient arched ceiling in the living area and an old stone clothes wash tub in the hallway. The apartment is in a perfect location, only a block from the Forum. Yet, it is still very quite. The L’Oriel restaurant across the street from the apartment was one of our favorites during our 4 week stay in France. Lise, was very helpful, always answered our trivial questions quickly. And when we had difficulty arranging a ride to the train station her husband drove us there.
This was an exceptional place to stay! The host was extremely helpful and the accommodations were perfect! Located in the center of town, yet set off on a quiet street. We would love to return and stay for a week!
Proximity to all the sites and good restaurants in Arles. The outside patio was a plus. Condo was accessible without stairs.
Outstanding property, the apartment is in a historical building and has a lot of historical details. Location is perfect. We also liked a small garden with a huge tree that creates a nice shadow to relax during a hot day. Super comfortable beds! I especially recommend it for the historical atmosphere.
Architectural interest, outdoor area, gracious hostess, spacious, had everything we needed.
