Отель Au son des cigales, Авиньон, Франция

It is a nice sized apartment with a swimming pool situated a little out way out of town. This allowed us to relax in the country side in the evenings after enjoying the hustle and bustle of the centre of Avignon.

I chose this apartment because it is very close to Avignon TGV station. We had an early start the next morning. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, very clean. There was another guest room but it was not occupied so we had the kitchen-dining area just for ourselves. The garden around the house was more like on a farm, part of it filled with big old trees, an old friendly dog, at least two cats, some hens and ducks in one corner; you would not expect this almost in the middle of Avignon. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpfull in many ways. I think this is an interesting place for people who look for space and a different kind of housing.
