Charming, our host cooked us a delightful meal made from local produce, the bedrooms were clean, comfortable and after a good night’s sleep we had an excellent breakfast.
Beautiful old auberge in a very pretty part of Champagne. The courtyard and dinning areas were very charming. The courtyard in particular was a great spot to hang out with a coupe de champagne after our long bike ride from Epernay. The little village of Baulne-en-brie was beautiful as well, but be aware that there are no other businesses there besides this auberge -- no stores or restaurants, no bakery.
The host was also charming and very helpful facilitating our bike tour.
