Built by Louis XI in 1465, Château de Jallanges & Spa is located between Tours (7.5 mi) and Amboise (6.2 mi), in the heart of the Loire Valley Châteaux route and amid the Vouvray vineyards, just 6.2 mi from the TGV station (Paris/Tours in 55 minutes) and 5.6 mi from the A10 motorway. On site, you'll love the large indoor swimming pool in an 11th-century cellar, the Hammam, sauna, Spa and sensory shower, as well as the tennis court, billiards room, gym and outdoor pool (in season).
One hour of Spa per day is included in the room rate. All the attractive and very comfortable rooms are en suite and offer a view of the gardens. A hearty buffet breakfast is served, with jams, homemade honey, pastries and Vouvray from the estate. Château de Jallanges features a renaissance garden with rose garden, a chapel and is suitable for all types of receptions. Couples particularly appreciate the location and quality of this establishment. They give it a score of 8.9 for a stay for two.

The breakfast was wonderful and impressively presented. The property was historically spectacular and it's elegance was perfect for a romantic stay. My wife and I could not have felt more special staying in such a grand chateau.
Staying at the Chateau was a real treat! It has been beautifully restored and is such a welcome departure from the same old hotels that have nothing terribly special about them. Staying at the Chateau, one really feels like a guest of the Chateau owner. Helen was a wonderful hostess. We really enjoyed visiting with the animals behind the Chateau as well! This is a special place and I only wish we could have stayed longer.
The location was serene and the castle and grounds were absolutely beautiful. The owner and staff were lovely and we added night because our tween boys liked this place so much! We hope to come back again for a longer visit!

This is a unique property. We absolutely loved our stay here. The grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was fabulous and the location is terrific, plenty of other chateaux within a short drive. Helen is such a great advertisement for this place, nothing was too much trouble and she is always smiling. We would return in a heartbeat!
