Firstly 1.30pm check in is such a huge bonus. I was allowed to check in at 1.15pm which meant I could enjoy the whole day.
Although a bit dated and basic on my first impression. It was extremely comfortable and very clean.
Quiet despite being so close to the centre.
Having a coffee machine was a treat.
I would definately book again.
For the budget the hotel was excellent. The staff was very friendly and the room was small but still spacious. Simple furniture but great quality.
The staff were friendly. The room was clean, adequately spacious and the bed was comfortable. The buffet style breakfast which was available from 6.00am worked well for us. The central location near the train station and buses was excellent and the accommodation was excellent value.
A little noisey at first but it all settled down later. Breakfast was adequate for sure. Plenty to choose from. Not sure why I chose this hotel but probably because I didn't have to share a bathroom, so completely private. Shame about lack of parking. I arrived early evening so parking on the street was eventually found and I went before daytime charges came in to effect. Car park tariffs were confusing. Staff friendly and courteous. It was an ideal place for me to stop instead of doing night time driving.
