This is an outstanding B&B a couple miles outside of Arc-en-Barrois, well worth the extra walking off-trail for those on the Via Francigena. First, the hosts are wonderful, both in their welcoming and their cooking (dinner was magnificent; the breakfast perfect). Second, the house is stunningly beautiful. Third, the grounds and location are lovely, with livestock, horses, captive herds of Fallow Deer and Red Deer; there's a beautiful old chapel on the grounds that the hosts are restoring. The walk from the B&B to Langres on quiet country roads is easy and lovely (except for the steep climb to Langres itself.)

Great views and plenty of animals (deer and boars) that are active in the evening. The chalets are really cozy and the hot tub is amazing. Breakfast was brought to us to eat by the chalets.

Beautiful property with woods and animals (deer, boar, chickens). Nice to walk around and close to a great brewery. We enjoyed our dinner on the terrace and the hosts were fantastic.

This is a beautiful location, within the family's deer park. The food is delicious and home made - we enjoyed sitting on the terrace at the back in the evening after a tasty freshly prepared dinner, watching the sunset, enjoying a beer from La Choue brasserie (brewed at the bottom of the road so couldn't get more local), with the only sound the deer munching the grass a stone's throw away plus the birds tweeting as they catch flies.

Everything was excellent. Great location. Excellent hosts. Fantastic facilities. We will come back if we are around the area again.
