Location was great. Staff was friendly and excellent. Room was clean
Hotel Bellevue was a perfect location, right on the water where the boat arrives, so just a short walk with luggage to the hotel. We had a small room but with a nice outdoor balcony and a place to store our luggage easily throughout the day so that we could spend as much time as possible seeing the island in the time that we had there. There was also a bike rental shop right at the hotel where we rented bikes for the day. It gets very crowded in the summer, so walking was in some ways the better way to get around, but the bikes allowed us to be able to cycle to the far end of the island where the lighthouse is so that we could then use more time to walk along the coastal trails. Dinner was included in our rate, which added to the ease and value of the stay. The meal was remarkably good, with a 3-course set menu. Breakfast was also decent.
Charming hotel with the most welcoming staff in the restaurant. Even though they were extremely busy everyone took the time to chat and answer our questions. We ate 3 meals in the restaurant and all were good, although options were a little limited. If one stayed longer than an overnight you would probably want to venture into the village for dining options
