Octon is an attractive tiny village - the 'discovery' in an extensive road trip in France. The hotel/restaurant is in a historic building with a view over the village. Room was pleasant and we ate well in the restaurant. Friendly, helpful staff.
Lovely building in a beautiful village near Lac du Salagou. Very friendly couple run the hotel and cook great dinners and breakfasts
Quiet location and quite basic facilities but delightful hosts who couldn't have been more helpful. Really good homemade food for dinner and breakfast. Perfect for a one-night stopover.

The location was absolutely beautiful.
The bedroom had the most stunning view and the most comfortable bed and lovely shower.
The restaurant served the most delicious inventive food, would have loved to stay longer to try everything on the menu.

Easy to find in the centre of the village. Parking is normally not a problem in from the of the hotel but we arrived during a children’s Xmas event so we had to temporarily leave our car in a nearby free car park. The rooms are large, clean, very quiet and comfortable. We had a problem with no power to the electric sockets but the staff quickly fixed the problem. The staff are lovely and very keen to please. The restaurant is very popular with the locals and the food is excellent.
