The hospitaleiro was excellent. Bixente explained about the Camino French Way and Basque culture. The gite was a bit out of town so it shortened the first day on the Camino. As a family we hired two twin rooms with en suite. Ideal for us.
The property was lovely, had a private room it was nice. Very simple & to the point. Vicente received us with a very warm welcome explaining the Route to Roncevalles, breakfast and dinner options.
Jack was delightful in the morning such a cheerful guy! Thank you for such great Hospitality
This is one of the best places to stay because there is silence, and it is already in the Camino.

The albergue had great character. It had likely been in use for a long time and had a shabby chic old style. It was very clean, had a large picnic table on an outside porch with great views.
Full of character and rustic. The hosts keep chickens in their yard, including a rooster!
