A lot, a nice older house well maintained, 5 minutes walk to the busy centre, large comfortable room with a canopied bed and big tub. The host gave us 2 beers when we asked and didn’t charge us - which was kind. Breakfast was modest but nicely presented. We left my husband’s jacket there and she held it until we could back that way a few days later . Very good communication on that front which was appreciated. Room was a very good value for what we paid. Good bicycle parking in the garage.

We were treated wery well, even when we didn't speak French. Staff were very friendly and helpfull.

A lovely hotel with comfortable beds and a warm welcome, they even baked gluten free bread in the morning especially! It is in a lovely location, and the pool is wonderful.

The Logis Auberge du Relay Hotel was in a perfect location for our needs, halfway between Orthez and Sallies de Bearn on the main road between the two. We had a room on the back and there was no vehicle noise from the road although it might not be the same for a room on the front. The room was smaller than average but there was a large balcony with chairs and a table which would be an asset had the weather been better for this stay. Overall the room was comfortable and well equipped for our needs. The church clock in the village chimes every hour, but it is far enough away from the property that it is not intrusive and, for us, added some rural charm to our stay. On this visit we didn’t eat at the property, but we have eaten there before and always been impressed by the quality of food. There is plenty of off street parking. We have no hesitation in recommending this charming family run location which we have been visiting since 1990.

Quirky character, slightly off the beaten track, Parking was good, in summer the pool would be a nice bonus, but does need some updating around the pool and leisure area.
