One of our best accommodations (if not the best) we had during our recent tour of 11 days/10 nights in France. Located within 5 minutes walking distance to the center/ cathedral/townhall (but Narbonne is a small city), freshly renovated, clean and spatious. Covered and secured parking beneath the building. Nice and helpfull staff.

The Couvent des Carmes is located centrally in Narbonne, very close to the city center, and extremely close to the Robine canal that passes through Narbonne. The apartment was in exquisite condition and in a quiet neighborhood, so we definitely enjoyed our stay. The apartment was equipped with kitchenware and utensils and a washer, and drying rack in the bathroom.

Exceptional customer service! The very friendly and accommodating staff went above and beyond to exceed our needs and expectations. The landmark building is a unique, historic and cultural gem; you can see the beautiful care and attention that has been put into restoring every room in the former Carmelite convent. And the location is more than wonderful - only a block to the scenic Canal de la Robine and historic old town, close to public and regional transit (convenient for day trips such as Carcassonne, Beziers, and Sete) and within easy walking distance to cafes, restaurants, markets, shopping and everything else you might need during your stay in Narbonne. We had a fabulous time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Many kind thanks to everyone at Ancient Couvent des Carmes!

The location and the feel of the place. We've stayed in 4-5 different rooms and all are very characterful and spotlessly clean
