Simple, good value and an unexpectedly great breakfast which I think was included in the price.

Front desk was extremely helpful. The food was great! Location was perfect.
This was my third stay at Ibis Calais, I strongly recommend booking a double room - it was very spacious and I had a room overlooking a quiet street. There is a bath which I saw as a blessing after two months of backpacking. It is close to local bars and restaurants and it has a 24 hour reception, so if you're like me and stay out till 5am you'll be fine. The free breakfast was a lovely touch and the smell of freshly baked goods was beautiful. 10/10
