A gorgeous little geodesic-dome cabin in a tranquil spot with stunning surroundings (even on a busy summer weekend when the nearby lake beach is crowded, it feels tranquil here). The bed is comfortable and the garden is lovely - our host kindly offered us some of the delicious strawberries growing there.
There are a couple of small areas for improvement. The floor was not clean and when walking around barefoot we realised it needed a good mop. The other thing is that the host is not aware that foreigners paying in US dollars are exempt from the IVA tax, but she maintained we still needed to pay this (unlike all the other places we stayed in Chile where they did not charge this tax). This needs to be fixed.
Overall, though, a beautiful spot and a great getaway (very hot in the summer though and of course there's no a/c - so try to avoid the hottest weeks of the year here).
