A really solid backpacker hostel. Not as polished as a shiny corporate-style hostel, but with a lot more heart. The staff are nice, the place is honest about what it offers, and there are a lot of useful facilities. As a birdwatcher I enjoyed seeing a new bird for me (Oasis Hummingbird) in the garden
Nice grungy hostel with a beautiful garden which is perfect for meeting other people. Bit run down but the atmosphere makes up for it.
Great staff, fun 20-30 yr old travelers from around the world. Also great if you’re heading towards Bolivia or Peru for trekking and sightseeing.
We arrived very early and they let us store our bags there while we explored the city. They even offered us breakfast even though we hadn't checked in yet and allowed us Wifi access. There were plenty of toilets available and the showers were hotter than hot. Our room was spacious with storage, and the bed was comfortable and warm. There was an amazing outdoor communal space with a fire pit. There was plenty of wildlife to see, including hummingbirds.
Chill atmosphere and amazing garden, helpful staff-just a lovely place to hang out and relax!
