Dog friendly and clean. Comfortable mattress and bedding
I stayed here while hiking the Tour des Combins and was very impressed. I was in one of the private rooms, which was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, the wifi was fast, and the employees were friendly. I was hiking in from Italy and realized I had brought the wrong plug adapter with me, so the woman who checked me in let me borrow one for the night. So nice! I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!
Superb location , of course. Most staff was very friendly, especially the young lady at the reception and the restaurant staff. Impeccably clean. Excellent breakfast (lots of choice). Quiet. Recommended.
given the location there is no other option. the room was very hot/stuffy. sleeping conditions not ideal but again, there is no other option in such a remote location. totally worth it to enjoy the hiking region.
The location of this hotel, on the Col du Grand St Bernard, is wonderful. The hotel is simple, rooms with no TV but that isn't why you are there. The Hospice next door is worth a visit and there is a lot of walking in the hills around the Col. The restaurant in the building is again simple but very nice food. We had the Menu du jour which was great, soup or salad, followed by rosti. Breakfast was good too.
