Amazing family-run hotel! Nicest staff, great breakfast and super clean and cozy. Highly highly recommend!!
Super friendly host, great location right on the via alpina trail and next to the train station.
Martin, Sonja, Doris and Gerro were spectacular. They were always looking out for us and excited to see us and help us with anything we needed. We didn’t have plans one day and they helped us sort out a hike and the best way to get there. You also get a free bus pass. Breakfast in the morning was amazing. They have delicious bread, cheese, meats, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, orange juice, coffee and muesli. This bed and breakfast was so homey and pleasant. Best value in Lenk!
What a quaint, friendly place! Sonja and the rest of the staff made me feel like family during my three day stay from start to finish. My room was on the top floor as I requested (only stairs, no lift) affording a pretty view of the village of Lenk from my balcony. My single room & bath was on the smaller side, but it was perfect for my needs. A comfortable bed, a table, and bathroom were all I desired. There were enough outlets to recharge my devices and the Wifi was fine. An easy walk from the train station. Breakfast was delicious with offerings typical for Switzerland, including homemade jams. I was warmly greeted each morning and throughout my stay all made sure everything was comfortable for me. For those desiring an authentic family run place, I heartily recommend The Hotel Garni Alpenruh. Thanks, all, for a memorable stay!
