We loved our stay at Hotel Alex during our ski vacation. The location is excellent. The staff is very nice and helpful. The sauna and pool facilities were amazing after a day of skiing. The place felt very authentic Swiss and had a lot of charm.

Very comfortable hotel with great exercise facilities and nice bar where you could meet other guests and exchange stories.

Proximity to train was why I selected it, but the proximity to the heart of Zermatt, the playground were unexpected necessities. Wonderful location and facilities. Great breakfast. And a wonderful balcony.
My room was a super cute small double room. The bathroom was nice (not super clean) with a Jacuzzi bathtub but I haven't used it. The room was very quiet with Mountain View, just to the wrong side ;-). Realised in the morning that you can see the Matterhorn from the terrace - other side from my room view. Breakfast was very nice - everyone can find something.
Location is nearby the station.
