The location and the view. The property was spotless clean. The towels and linens are nice and soft. Kitchen facilities cover all your needs.

View was amazing. Room was comfy and well provisioned. Their own local wine was very good and went well with our two in-apartment dinners. Short drive back into town, definitely enjoyed it more than we would have if we stayed downtown.

This was probably the BEST place we have ever stayed on our travels. The location is magical, with views of mountains above and Bellinzona down below. There is a huge fenced yard that our dogs loved running around and tanning. The studio ("Loft") and really large and modern. Internet was super. The hosts we very attentive and caring, even provided beds and bowls for our dogs, which was so appreciated. We were supplied with fire wood to have a fire in the wood stove every night. We spent two weeks at Scarpape and traveled to various places, such as Valle Verzasca, Valle Maggia, Monte Generoso, Monte Lema, and many others. It's possible to go on hikes right from the front door. It's all very accessible. We will definitely be back!

The location is spectacular and the room was very clean. It is easy to communicate with the host.
