Despite the non stopping rain for days and days, our stay in Amanta Beach was just perfect. Everything is as shown on the photos and written in the description and actually there is much more. Slightly out of the village, just right on the private beach, with a huge garden and a cute swimming pool, you will be offered very tasty breakfasts and dinners.. The rooms and the private gardens have everything you may need. And those stylish decorations! I need to mention also the very lovely staff who make you feel very welcome and still manage to give you the privacy you want in such a place. It is not the cheapest, but absolutely worth the value.

The location is gorgeous! As long as you're fully prepared for how remote it is, Amanta really is a lovely spot. You're far away from anything else at this point, and you have your own private beach. I was often out there all alone - I felt like I had the entire ocean to myself! There are beach beds and towels and everything, which is nice. And the staff are all very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good, although I always find it strange when I'm served things like white/American bread -- I came here to eat Sri Lankan food! If you're looking for a nice, quiet relaxing time on the beach, this is definitely the spot for that.
