A great place to stay for my last night in Sri Lanka. A colonial-style guesthouse with a beautiful setting on the lake with vintage furniture and other touches. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. Hot shower and good breakfast. The staff are very warm, welcoming, and accommodating. Allowed a later checkout and arranged a tuk tuk to visit Athugala Rock before my departure. Would definitely stay there again.

Such a beautiful place to stay by the lake which offered the most beautiful views. Really cool historical building and the staff was so kind! And made made amazing food! It was a great first night in Sri Lanka thanks to the staff! It was also very affordable and we were upgraded to a better room upon arrival.

Loved the colonial environment

I loved the colonial look of the hotel. It was calm and peaceful. Hotel is Infront of the lake. The food was amazing. You should try their dishes. Staff was very caring. Steward Suranga was very helpful during our stay.
