The family suite was spacious, clean, and comfortable. You can hear the ocean from the room, which has a terrace that opens directly onto the beach. The lady who worked there was lovely and very helpful with everything we needed. Breakfast was generous, with a good variety of options. We only needed a place to stay for one night, and this guest house provided a clean room with basic amenities at good value.

The homestay was directly on the beach. Our room was very spacious, clean and we could see the ocean from our room. The breakfast was delicious with typical Sri Lankan specialties. We wanted to stay one night but prolonged it to a second night, we would even stayed longer but we had to get going.

We loved Chathu, the lady who owns the house with her husband! She is authentic, warm and caring and she and her husband made our stay wonderful (although they were busy constructing a new (big!) apartment in the building, which is nearly finished). Breakfast right in front of the room with our feet in the sand, marvelous! This is a quiet location with a beautiful broad sandy strip before you enter the (warm) sea water. With a tuktuk you can go easily to Hikkaduwa to grab a cappuccino or lunch and see the, at some parts, crowded beaches and the people who surf on the waves. Lovely place also!

Best place to stay on the west coast. Direcrky at the beach. Clean rooms, good shower, great wifi and excellent service. Highly recommended! Nice restaurant, I especially liked the grilled fish with salad. Free beach towels and bottled water.
