Near to airport, good quality, well-behavior personel.
We stayed at Spicepeek hotel on the first night of our trip to Sri Lanka. Our plane arrived late at night so the hotel was conveniently located close to the airport, 10/15 minutes. The staff were welcoming and kind, the Family room was comfortable with good beds and A/C and the breakfast was great.
The hotel is gorgeous! And the staff are phenomenal. We felt so cared for the entire stay. Leo, who manages the property is an exceptional host and clearly a great leader because everyone who works there was on point. Thank you for taking care is us!!
The location is excellent for access to CMB airport. There was some noise from the airport but not too late or too early. A pick up is for a fee but drop-off is free. The property is new and in good condition. I had a room with pool access - my only regret is not packing my swimwear in my easy access bag. The room was large as was the bathroom. There was a huge bathtub (not used) and warm water in the shower. The breakfast was substantial.
A perfect place to stay on the way in or out of Sri Lanka for a family of 4. The room was huge with a smaller bed for the 2 kids, comfortable, the bathroom was lovely with a big bath and shower - all toiletries needed were available including toothbrushes and toothpaste. The restaurant on site offered delicious food. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly especially when our flight was canceled and we unexpectedly had to stay an extra night. The pool is great to keep the kids entertained. It is the perfect, quiet space needed pre or post a flight. It is so close to the airport too and the airport transfers were great. Communication with the hotel prior on whatsapp was really good too. I would highly recommend.
