The villa’s rooms have everything you need, are large and clean, you feel there like at home. The room's veranda is ideal for a private evening. The villa is surrounded by the greenery of tropical trees, in the morning you enjoy the singing of tropical birds and the beauty of the rising sun, and in the evening you enjoy silence and absolute tranquility. The owner of Villa Shokmon is an extremely welcoming and hospitable host who will help you with any questions. And with Shokmon it’s very pleasant to discuss philosophical issues of our existence on a quiet evening - you will be pleasantly surprised how much new you can discover for yourself. I had an unforgettable experience living in this beautiful place for 2 weeks. I especially recommend Villa Guru.

The manager at Villa Guru is an incredible person with unbelievable story and we could have just talked with him about life for the whole stay.

The room exceeded all expectations: we had a spatious third floor room with high ceiling and a balcony practically around the house. Easily the prettiest room we had during our month in Sri Lanka.

Really nice host, who cooked a delicious meal for us and familiarized us with some typical sri lankan breakfast foods and we had always a good time talking to each other. He really cares that you have a good time.

The owner was super lovely and helpful, he even let us check out late when we asked. The air conditioning worked well and the room was comfortable.
