If you don't need good internet you can read this as a 10 star review if you do then it's an 8 because everything else about this stay was perfect. The room is lovely, huge and very clean and comfortable with a gorgeous terrace looking out onto the flower garden. The AC works well, there's hot water and the breakfast is huge and varied, plus the owner is very helpful. The location is gorgeous and you can walk to everything you want but I would suggest getting a tuk tuk to the rock if it's hot. I also recommend taking the elephant safari with the owner, other people in 'town' were complaining they hardly saw any elephants, we saw 150! He will take you to where the elephants are, not just to the nearest park. Communication with the owner is very easy via WhatsApp and he doesn't push his safari. This was easily my nicest stay in Sri Lanka, I stayed for 5 nights and loved it.
