Clean, comfortable, cute. Great view of the harbor in the lounge, it was beautiful. Free snacks and water in the lounge, with access to coffee and microwave, fridge, etc. Regarding location, it is very convenient in the Nampo area next to a huge Lotte mall, so it has super easy access to the train station and multiple buses- however, note that it is not centrally located such as in Seomyeon, so getting to northeast Busan like north of Haeundae Beach is a bit of a trek (over 90 min multiple train/bus transfers). That being said, we were still able to get to Haeundae beach and Centum City Spa Land fairly easily with a transfer (about 40-50 min train). Very easy to get to Hunniyeon Culture Village and Songdo Beach (about 20 min bus). Also it is very conveniently located directly above a 7-eleven and coffee shop!
Location was great, close to the subway and the Lotte Mall nearby was walking distance.
It was easy to get to attractions like Songdo beach. The guesthouse lounge was great and the free water/snacks was a huge plus point.
Well-located, accommodating and responsive hosts, private
Our stay at Stay Gaon overall was great. The view along with the comfortable bed and the small tv were really cozy and made more of an apartment feeling than that of a hotel. The lounge was exceptionally beautiful, and the free drinks and snacks were nice as well.
This review is for the 3 person room with private bathroom:
- impeccably clean, room is spacious and equipped with a smart tv, closet and fluffy bedding
- the view as seen in the photos from the kitchen is lovely plus stocked fridge of water, milk, juice was available for guests plus cereal and some snacks
- location is convenient it’s 4 mins away from Nampo Station Exit 10 and 2 stops away from Busan Station
- 10 min walk away from Jagalchi Fish Market and 15min from Gukje Market
- Gaon Stay is one block away from Lotte Department Store and Lotte Mart
- 10 mins away from the shopping district
