A small but extremely well equipped space. Every detail had been thought of. Within walking distance from a good restaurant and safe.

Jon and Vicki were perfect hosts who went above and beyond to make me comfortable even after I had mobility issues. The lovely cottage style garden is a most welcoming retreat. The flat is equipped with everything one needs to feel at home including preparing meals. For Euro 1.50 to 7 you can reach anywhere in greater Cape Town with ride services

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Carrington Cottage and I can highly recommend it. Although the space was small, it was incredibly comfortable and well-appointed. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay. The ambiance was warm and inviting. The bedroom was cozy, and the amenities were modern and functional, from the well-equipped kitchen to the little bathroom. One of the standout features was the location. Conveniently situated near shops and some local attractions, as well as close to the University.

The owners are lovely people, Vicky has a very infectious laugh lol! So helpful during our stay, and the property is situated in a nice quiet, safe area , and is very homely.. Shower is nice and powerful (a must for me to wake me up in the morning lol!) the property was very clean and tidy, and Vicky came in half way through our stay and gave the place a spruce up with fresh towels etc. There's a lovely little outside garden area where you can have a cheeky Sherry that Vicky leaves you in a decanter in the kitchen, or to have your meals. Flowers everywhere.. looks lovely.. WiFi was good, and there's Netflix on the TV. Lots of things to do within a 30 minute drive from the property. There are plenty of brochures in the property with ideas of what to do whilst in Cape Town supplied by the owners...Groot vineyard tour and wine tasting is a must lol!!

I liked everything about Carrington Cottage. We were welcomed by John and he is a very kind man. He showed us the place. It is a beautiful and cosy place. It is extremely clean and has everything you may need. Vicky is a lovely person and very friendly.. She was so kind and was with us outside the gate while we were waiting for the uber to take us to the airport. We will definitely come back to Carrington Cottage
