RIU OCHO RIOS, is always a great escape for family getaway. Entertainment, food, drinks, service is top notch.

Only the location OCHO Rios Reservation and Reception service sucks. Takes 3-4 hours to check in. Your reservation can not be found and your are forced to pay out of pocket until they find your reservation.. until now mine cannot be found and I’m still waiting for my REFUND from either parties.

I liked that the food was delicious. Every dish was amazing. For the most parts, the staff were great as well. In the midst of the pandemic, they put in extra effort to ensure that guests were fully entertained from fitness exercises to 🎥 movies. i think i was only disappointed by a particular staff who i don't think works for Riu, but for scubacaribe who does watersports on the property. Her attitude was poor. My boyfriend and I had gone for an early dive without heading to breakfast forst and we asked her if she had any bottles of water there at her station to which she responded "unu don't have water in the room?". After this she shouted the boatman asking if he had water, and then went back an forth to get herself tea having still not respond to our question. Her attitude was very poor for a service personnel and that bothered me because we did three different sets of scuba dives and had to interact with her atleast 4 times. Aside from that staff, all other's were welcoming and courteous.

I loved all the activities and shows that where put on every night and how they involved the audience like allowing the kids on stage to dance with the performers. Some of the food was not too tasty.
