Close to the historic district. Provided as much coffee as you wanted. Comfortable bed. Nice tub to soak in. Quiet place

The location of this hotel is perfect for visiting the old town in Kurashiki, with its charming canals, boat rides, and denim shops, among other interesting sights. The train station is also nearby, walking distance if it's not pouring rain or the sun is not too hot. Room was perfectly adequate, with good beds, nicely decorated space, and a great view.

The whole place has a clean modern feeling, but in a traditional style. The capsule is really big and private, and the botel never really sleeps - you can return home super late and still jump in the onsen, or chill out in the relaxation area on tatami mats and get a bite to eat in the early hours. There was calming tranditional shamisen music playing over the speakers. In one word, the feeling of the hotel was 'serene'.

We had stayed in Kurashiki before and wanted to be near the historic canal area and the train. This fit the bill! The breakfast was good and we were happy with our choice. An easy walk from the train and to the canal and to a great Local Sake Bar!
