Had a spacious and comfortable room, full kitchen available plus the owner lent me a bicycle. The location is more remote (which is what I wanted) but it means a 15-20 mins walk from the station, still feasible. The grocery store in town is also far away on foot so I recommend a car or bike while staying. The owner is very kind and helpful. The area is very peaceful and beautiful, I recommend biking to Odani castle (~20 mins) for a great hike and view. 5 min train ride to Nagahama station from Torihime station, so it's very easy to explore Nagahama and see Lake Biwa for the day.
