Omura Central Hotel, Омура, Япония

I stayed here to be closer to the airport for an early flight. This is an old school, no frills hotel that checks all the boxes for an enjoyable stay. The staff was so welcoming and helpful, the room was a bit dated but charming and very comfortable. There is a great restaurant just outside the front door to the right that served up some of the best beef I had while in Japan. They tried to arrange a taxi to the airport for me but none were available so they got me arranged for the easy and direct bus journey to the airport. Places like this is what makes me love Japan.

I stayed for the night to get to the airport the next day. Walkable distance from Omura station. If you take Shinkansen, then you need to take another train to get to Omura station. I was very surprised to find that the room had the old school vibe. A glimpse into the past, if I may say so. The staff were cheerful, and friendly. The room was clean with all the amenities provided. The breakfast was sufficient and interesting. I did not expect this experience and I loved it every minute. Close to the bus station as well, from where you can get to the airport. The buses have their timings and are not that frequent though. But it is a 20-30 min ride, which was absolutely fine for me.
