The guest house is a lovely quiet place that has both charming open areas with an easy going casual atmosphere and tatami and western rooms that also give privacy and a sense of ease. Located near the station it's a short walk near a fantastic izakaya and sake bar, along with cafes, record and cd shops and convenience stores. In short I highly recommend it.

Hosts were generous, kind, thoughtful, funny and made me feel right at home. The kitchen had everything one needs to cook a small meal or heat up a bento. There is also a fridge and freezer. There is a lounge right by kitchen with a Japanese heating table, kotatsu, so one can socialize easily and we had meals together a couple times, which gave it a very homey and cozy atmosphere. Couldn’t have asked for nicer hosts. Thank you Koda-san!
