Love this place so so much. We had wonderful stay and unforgettable experiences.
It was absolutely beautiful! We especially loved the gardens. Being surrounded by beautiful trees was very restful.
We really enjoyed the private bath in our room and took full advantage.
The staff was very attentive, friendly and kind.
Peace and quiet. Scenery was amazing. Food was very good.
Beautiful location!! The walk from the train station to the hotel with luggage was a bit of a hassle, but it was totally worth it in the end. The room was spacious and had an amazing view! Plus, they had champagne hour from 5 pm to 7 pm, where we could go to the restaurant in the hotel, have a few drinks, and enjoy the view while having a few snacks as well. This place is 15 minutes from Arashiyama bamboo forest (walking).
This is an exceptional hotel, well-located in a great section of Kyoto. The afternoon drink and snack by the river was most appreciated. Really attentive staff. We recommend a visit to the new museum next to the hotel.
