The hospitality was impeccable. The host was always available for everything. Probably witnessed the peak of Japanese culture (with people being helpful in every way possible) here. The host (without even us asking him for anything) found that our shoes were wet after a trek put them for drying (on a drying machine) only for us to find the shoes all dried up the next day. Unbelievable.

The location is walkable from the port and has house had everything you’d need. The kitchen and the shower was equipped with everything that you’d need during your stay. The house was small but very clean.

Would highly recommend.

The owner was really friendly and helpful. The location is perfect if you go to Yakushima without a car and would like to use the public transportation on the island. He has suggested spots to go to, restaurants to visit (where we got great food btw) and helped with booking a bus tour around the island.

Such a lovely man taking care of this place. I had a gorgeous view of the mountains, place was clean, and water was hot, great location as well a short walk from the ferry. And the coolest dog!

Great location for price, kind owners, clean room and facilities
