Great place for a short stay in a perfect location. Love that the bathrooms are separate. Quiet and comfortable at night with a nice rooftop. They said it was an old house and noisy but I thought it was very quiet.

If booking a hotel in Taiwan, you must consider the seasonal variations: the high (peak), shoulder, and low (off) seasons. The high season lasts from July to September and includes December. Summer is the time when most people have days off work or study. However, the Taiwanese summer may get too hot, humid, and has the greatest probability of cyclones. December and January attract visitors who want to observe Taiwan's New Year (universal and Chinese, respectively) preparations and participate in the celebration. Due to the popularity of these months, accommodation and attractions should be booked well in advance.



The shoulder seasons — October, November, and April — are the best for visiting Taiwan in terms of the weather and a relatively small number of tourists. In October, you can take part in Halloween celebrations, and in April, join some of the music festivals held on the «music weekend».



January, February, and March, comprising the low season, are nice for cherry blossom viewing and winter sports in the mountainous regions. However, some accommodations and attractions close down, and prices increase.
