The cottage is really lovely, well-decorated with an eye for detail and very well equipped. Very friendly host, communication was quick and good. Home away from home. Lovely garden as well.

Restaurant really nice design and the food was very good. Very accommodating staff, great location, easy parking, nice atmosphere. Nice shower gel product. Very good housekeeping. Lovely grounds and easy access to walking through the castle grounds.

The staff was helpful and good-natured! They gave us a really great welcome. Also, the Crown is near great pubs, shopping, fish & chips, and ferry. We had a wonderful stay.

The owners, Peter and Elaine, could not have been more welcoming and hospitable. The food — breakfast and dinner — was excellent, our accommodations were comfortable, and their recommendations for exploring Lewis were really super.
