We were walking distance to everything. The aquarium, 6+restaurants on the same block. You didn’t need to even cross a street. And across the street were plenty more. As well as shops. We walked to everything except Kuranda rainforest. The condo was very clean, there was laundry and 2 pools. Every morning we woke up at 5 to drink our coffee on the veranda and watch the bats fly by. I’d go back just for that.

Our Cairns Aquarius stay was amazing! It was so much bigger than I imagined it would be. The rooms were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, the living & dining room area was comfortable, it was quiet, the view from the balcony was amazing, and it was a close walk to everything shopping, dining, and sightseeing.

A superb apartment with all the necessary mod-cons. To the excellent location overlooking the water from your balcony, the large screen TV with numerous options including Foxtel (major surprise and greatly appreciated), Netflix, Prime etc, the fully functional kitchen with all amenities, two spacious bedrooms both with ensuites, the most comfortable beds we have ever encountered in accommodation, and we've travelled extensively here and abroad, and air conditioning and ceiling fans ( a must in Cairns in February) there is nothing you would want for when staying here. From the moment we booked, the communication with the hosts was first rate. Check in and out was seamless. I cannot speak any more highly of this apartment and its hosts. First rate in every manner.

The location was excellent. We did not rent a car, but apartment was an easy walk to grocery stores, train station to Kurunda, and walk to take harbor for Great Barrier Reef tour. Ubers are readily available to return to airport, which is 10 minutes away.

Great location and amazing views. Esplanade is directly outside the apartment block and makes a great place to walk. Everything works and the apartment had everything I needed, and lots of space.
