Central location, parking in front of hotel, friendly staff, spacious room, temperature can be adjusted on radiator, window can be opened for fresh air, very clean, comfortable bed, good breakfast, can have dinner in hotel's own restaurant, dinner was freshly fried, good beer.

We were upgraded to an apartment by the kind owner. It was facing the clock tower on the main market square. What a perfect location to have a nice dinner and a long walk through the old town afterwards. We were thrilled to be in such an old building (13th century) with amazing history. Make sure you ask the host about his remodel. He will show you photos that are just amazing. We were very happy with the bedding, shower, and living space. Everything was very high quality. We had a safe place in the back to store our bicycles. Instead of paying the 17 eu for breakfast, I went just outside the hotel in the morning (like the host recommended) and there was a little farm market going on. I bought rolls, meats, cheeses, fruit and veggies and made our own breakfast for much less. We had coffee with us, and were allowed to get hot water, cups, plates, and cutlery from the buffet downstairs. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

A great hotel that has obviously been welll looked after and continuously refurbished. I think the owner was on site throughout our stay and you can tell, a good host is worth it
