The family-run Panorama Hotel Traunstein offers modern rooms, each with a private balcony. Within a 10-minute walk, guests can reach the center of Altmünster and Lake Traun, which offers waterskiing, beach volleyball, miniature golf, and a large adventure trail. Every morning we prepare a rich breakfast buffet for you with wholemeal and natural products, a selection of sausages and cheeses as well as bread and pastries from the region. The rooms have a private bathroom with a shower and cable TV. They are all decorated in bright colors and materials. Direct lake access is only a few minutes' walk away. The local outdoor pool in Altmünster offers a swimming pool as well as lake access and is chargeable. Popular sights in the surrounding area include Orth Castle, which is beautifully located in a lake and only a 20-minute walk away. You can rent e-bikes directly at our reception - we kindly ask you to book in advance. In winter, the ski bus stops directly in front of the house and takes you to the Feuerkogel skiing area in 20 minutes.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The dinner and breakfast were delicious. We had a great view of the mountains and lake on the top floor and we used the elevator since we had many bags. There was free parking. The shower was wonderful and the bed very comfortable and super clean! The room was quiet. My only regret is that I didn’t stay longer.
Staff members were great. Breakfast spread was wonderful. Bathroom/shower was spacious and modern. Comfy beds. Big balcony with nice mountain and lake view. Room had everything we needed.
The view from the rooms with a terrace i(facing the lake) is beautiful. I'm not sure about the view from other rooms.
Breakfast was OK, but the dinning room was beautiful and the atmosphere was relaxed and warm
They have a little playground for kids, which is really nice (we didn't travel with kids, but it caught our eyes)
