Excellent location! The staff were extremely helpful and packed us our breakfast for an early morning flight.

The Chicago Hotel is in a great location. It doesn't have many rooms, so it fills up quickly. There is private parking for the hotel, which is important in a city where there is private parking for the hotel. The hotel staff was amazing, kind, warm, and very helpful. One evening we were very hungry and returned late, and the chef cooked dinner just for us. Marcela, the lovely clerk, organized our meal. And helped us with everything. There was also a lovely clerk who helped in the morning. I didn't remember her name. In summary, a hotel that welcomed us generously, and we received everything we asked for. Fair payment and value. Warm and friendly people. Highly recommend booking a vacation there.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, which is located just at the beginning of the main pedestrian area in Shkoder. It makes it very convenient to head out the door and find restaurants, shops, banks, and grocery. We had a car and so the free parking was a big attraction. The attendant out front was extremely helpful helping guide us into a parking spot (a tight squeeze) and helping us get our luggage out of the car. The room itself was really comfortable and we had two good nights' sleep. The staff overall were just delightful, and the breakfast in the morning was very good with lots of choices (more on the sweet side -- pastries, etc.). For people who want to book trips to Theth or Koman Lake, this hotel is very conveniently located to the main pickup point for many tour companies -- we walked two minutes to catch our minibus to Koman Lake, which was handy since the pickup was very early in the morning. Highly recommend this hotel!

The Receptionist was amazing, naturally nice. The hotel decor and style is excellent.

Hotel Chicago is centrally located but a little hard to find the entrance (you need to walk down stairs to find the lift to the 4th floor). Reception staff were good and helpful but the bar staff were too busy chatting with friends. Breakfast was fantastic - generous and varied and they made a great packed breakfast the day we went to the Alps / Theth.
