Nicola and his brother were the most hospitable and friendly hosts on our trip through the Balkans thus far. Their cat Poofy was also an added bonus. We had the larger room towards the front of the building which was perfect for us. The location is awesome. The AC worked well which was appreciated since we were in Shkoder over a heat wave. In the morning Nicola made fresh coffee and had various biscuits, he also went out for cheese pastry some of the mornings of our stay. The room is clean and the shared bathrooms (there are 2 between 3 rooms) is cleaned everyday. They are also able to do laundry for a small fee if needed. I cannot recommend this place enough. We stayed for 5 days and enjoyed it. We also stored our luggage, as others have mentioned, while we went to the mountains to hike. Thank you to Nicola and his brother for everything.
The loveliest man runs this accommodation. He was warm, kind and went out of his way to help us with several things. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We were able to leave a bag there while we did a hike in Theth.

This was an 11/10 stay. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the old town. You walk downstairs and are immediately met with an amazing atmosphere. Despite this, it was still quiet in the room and we were able to rest. No complaints whatsoever!
Nicola was the best host there is!!! Our bus dropped us off in the outskirts of the city so he sent a car for us. Once at the hostel, he was extremely friendly and helpful. Given that he lives in Italy for half of the year, he prepared the most delicious pasta for our dinner at no cost. Truly a host like no other!!! Would 100% recommend.
I booked this room the last minute.
When i arrive the owner took my luggage over the stairs (he even took them back down when i checked out).
They washed my clothes for free
He even offered to rent a bicycle for free.
The location was perfect! Window is on the old town with cobblestone street, where a band played music at night,
Note that they stop the music around 11:45 pm.
Very friendly owners.
I recommend you to stay and if i am back in shkoder i will stay there.
