Amazing location, very quiet and excellent/friendly owners
Hotel Parador de Canolich is truly a hidden gem in Andorra. I could not be more pleased with the place, the surrounding, the food, the ambiance, and most importantly- the hosts. The hosts are the kindest people and offered a genuine hospitality and care second to none. The hosts cared for their guests like their own family. I have fond memories of the place. The nature and overlook are simply breathtaking. The hotel is isolated and nestled in the mountains, so if you want complete tranquility and genuine Andorran hospitality- this is your place!
A great experience - incredibly gracious hosts - very much like a B&B in the US - room was spacious, very clean, bathroom was beautiful - and the view is amazing. Breakfast is wonderful.
30ish minutes from the tram to Grandvalira in Encamp - where there is indoor parking and ticketing.
A car is necessary - in March I had an AWD rental with the chain kit and I was glad I did - didn’t use the chains but it was only a few degrees away from needing them.
There are also mountain hiking trails that run *right* past the hotel.
The hotel is nestled high in the mountains. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, quiet,, spacious and had an excellent view. Breakfast was good. We loved our stay. Would highly recommend.
Big comfortable room with good bed, great views, nice breakfast and dinner, peaceful and beautiful location. The owners are delightful!
