Nice people and a honest hostel. In Argentina, many hostels attempt to deceive tourists by applying an exchange rate that's far higher than a current rate to earn more money in peso terms. Basically a rip off. But as I recall, this hostel was one of the few that didn't do it to me and I really appreciate it because I know how rare it is especially in Argentina. And I am saying this after having traveled from south to north of the country. Breakfast presentation (display of the food) was cute, too. They also served a bit of freshly squeezed orange juice, just a little bit in portion, but again, it's super rare to find a hostel that does this in Argentina.

Fantastic host and great rustic hostel well equipped with everything I needed. Amazing views of mountains. Just a short walk from bust terminal on other side of trail station. Highly recommend.

Breakfast is a plus and the hostel is super clean! The views from the rooftop are amazing, confortable beds, and very nice showers :) It can a little bit far from the city center, but less than 10 min walk!

The owner (Matias) is very friendly...He keeps everywhere clean and tidy at all time... Nice and calm sit outside (face amazing mountain view with cold beer) Don't expect a party place...

A very cool hostel with amazing common areas, both inside and outside. The bathrooms are adjacent to the sleeping area, but they are well organized, so that was not a problem. The hostel is outside the town area, but that gives it a special charm because you can relax in the backyard without the noise, but still be in the center after a 10-min walk if you hear there is a fiesta going on. Emiliano was always cheerful and happy to share travel advice. He also immensely helped me with my luggage. If I ever come back to Tilcara, I would definitely stay at this place again.
