Great experience! We will definitely come back. The place lies in a small valley with a nearby little river and is lovely decorated. The staff is great and they prepare an amazing dinner arranged with local wine that they make themselves in the same Finca. It is worth the time and the money to spend at least one or two nights.
The place is absolutely gorgeous, every single area picturesque, warm, inviting and beautifully designed (yet it felt natural).
Fascinating (large, comfortable) rooms with 2-foot-thick adobe walls, local art/antiques displayed. Lovely courtyard, lounge with bilingual library and local art collection plus good Internet/WiFi (signal couldn’t penetrate our room, however). Very good breakfast including delicious fresh cactus fruit; hotel owners have a farm and even grow fruits in hotel courtyard. Dinner was superb. On our night the (single, fixed-price, all-included) menu was delicious tomato soup with local cheese (extra servings offered and eagerly eaten), large tender beefsteaks, flavorful roast vegetables (from that farm), choice of desserts (we ate fruit compote with nuts), excellent regional wine. The menu changes daily. Bilingual (Spanish/English) owner/manager.
This was the most incredible place I have ever stayed in. Everything from the people taking care of the farm, to the food and wine was fantastic. There are also 3 beautiful dogs !
Wonderful owners. Staff were very helpful and our evening meal was very nice.
We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting and charcuterie board.
Rooms were very large and airy and a good nights sleep.
