The staff was so lovely! Everyone spoke English, which was a pleasant surprise! The decor and ambiance were beautifully Bavarian in style! And the breakfast buffet was the BEST we’ve had in all of Argentina! Our server, Teo (sp?) was charming, helpful and polite! And the location is blocks in both directions from the BEST of San Martin de Los Andes! Exceeded expectations!
Very nice staff at check-in. Room was large with ample space to spread out. Having a fridge and tea service in the room was a bonus. The bathroom had been updated and was very nice - good water pressure, very hot water, good towels. The property is a bit funky but it was comfortable and well maintained. The best breakfast we'd had in Argentina so far - freshly cooked eggs and a basket of nice breads was presented at the table, plus cereals, yogurts, fruits and sweets on the buffet. Excellent! Location just steps off the Costanera and a ton of restaurants and shops right up Ave. San Martin. They have their own off-street parking lot. Perfect stay!
This is an excellent choice for hunters and fishers who need a place to stay on arrival or departure from their destinations. It is also an excellent choice for a longer stay as it is very well situated for sighseeing, shopping and dining. Walk out the front door, turn left, and you are immediately at the beach on Lake Lacar with casual beachfront dining. Turn right, and you are immediately on a street with shopping, a nightly art fair in summer, and a variety of fine dining establishments. Owners and staff are fun, nice, and knowledgable.
The staff here are so friendly. Breakfast was terrific. Location was great.
The staff were all exceptionally helpful. The location is superb, right near the waterfront and close to shops, restaurants etc. The breakfast is excellent.
