The town is very small. The location of this hotel is not bad. I booked a four-person room with bright windows and good ventilation. I arrived in Grodno by train at 5:44 in the morning. It was raining heavily when I came out of the train station. I carried two big bags and walked to the hotel (I had to stop to rest in the middle because of the heavy rain). When I arrived at the hotel, the front desk told me that I could leave my luggage but I couldn't stay in the hotel. I said it was raining outside and it was only 7:00 in the morning. I couldn't go out to visit anyway. I had been on the train all night and was very tired from walking. Why couldn't I rest in the public area? She said there were over 50 guests in the hotel and the public space was very limited, so it couldn't accommodate more guests. I understood. I asked again if I could have a drink and rest for a while before going out. She agreed that I could stay until 9:00. Around 9:00, I left the hotel and went out onto the street. It was still raining outside and I couldn't visit anywhere. So I went back to the hotel. At this time, the front desk clerk who was on duty in the morning had already left. In fact, I was out of the hotel for less than an hour in the whole morning. I only saw five or six guests in the kitchen throughout the morning. There were definitely not 50 or 60 guests as she said (so that they couldn't accommodate me). I really couldn't understand this way the front desk clerk treated me. Was it the hotel's rule or just her personal problem? Besides, the cleaners were constantly driving guests away. I was sitting in the kitchen and the cleaners kept coming in and out with very bad expressions and very impatient looks, as if I sitting there was hindering their work. It was my tea time in the morning and I needed to sit in the kitchen. Why couldn't the cleaners clean when the guests weren't using the kitchen? Why create such conflicts? So the hotel's rules or service philosophy are really proble
