The host is top notch. She made sure we are settled in and helped us with flying our caught fish dilemma, went above and beyond with her duties as a host. Place is described as it is. Bed is a little stiff for my back but overall great stay in Belize City. We stayed 1 night before our flight back home.

Angie is a kind and helpful host. Her place was very clean and welcoming. There was a microwave, refrigerator, and dishes for 2 people, but no table and 1 side chair. She had Doug’s taxi pick me up from the airport and bring me to her place. He was also very nice. There was coffee, sugar, and some water available. The grocery store is a 5 minute walk and will have most things you want. Angie left a list of restaurants - both casual and sit down. Her place is in a neighborhood (not a tourist zone). I found everyone very friendly. The A/C worked very well. There was storage for luggage. It is a 30 - 40 minute walk to downtown, or you can take a taxi. I wasn’t feeling well one day, and she came to check on me. Very sweet

Angie was a great host, responsive, and present at my scheduled arrival. If you want a spot that is close to many amenities, feels safe, and has a nice balance of tourists and locals, stay here. Lots of restaurant options for reasonable prices, and a large market nearby and Angie has many of them marked to help you find them.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable, and the property was also neat, clean and secure. It was located a 5-minute walk from a place to eat and another to get ice cream. We were very happy with our stay at City Garden Apartment.
